Change of Rules of translations in Argentina
Following an Official Notification dated August 1, 2011, and published on August 10, 2011, the Argentinean PTO reminded that after the filing of any document in a foreign language its Spanish translation by an Argentine sworn translator has to be filed.
Consequently, the Spanish translation of the priority certificates must be certified by an Argentine sworn translator. This cannot be avoided.
Moeller will not increase the price of translation costs. If the translation of the application text is prepared by our translators, the sworn translation of the priority certificates will maintain the same price we charged before this new regulation came into force.
